Where is the branch office located?
Home Savings of America is located at 24380 Moulton Parkway, Laguna Woods, CA in the Willow Tree Shopping Center.

What are the office hours?
We are open Monday through Friday 9:00 am until 4:30 pm and Saturdays from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm.

How can I make a deposit?
You can make a deposit:
  • By mail (do NOT mail cash)
  • At the branch location during our normal business hours
  • At our Night Deposit box at any time

What kinds of checks are acceptable for deposit?
Checks must be made directly payable to you and properly endorsed.

How long before my deposit will be credited to my account?
Cash deposited is available immediately. Local checks deposited are normally credited the next business day. Other deposits may have longer holds placed upon them, until the funds are collected.

How can I change my address and phone information?
You may call us at our branch location, or you can send us a written and signed request with the following information:
  • The new address and phone number you are changing to
  • The old address and phone number you are changing from
  • Your account number
  • Your name and signature


Are my funds insured?
Your funds are insured by the FDIC up to $100,000 for each account owner within FDIC-defined ownership categories. Setting up your deposits with different account ownerships, such as single and joint, can increase your deposit insurance levels considerably. And, certain retirement accounts are insured up to $250,000. Our branch customer service representatives would be happy to help you understand deposit insurance personally.

Is my personal information and account information safe and secure?
Your privacy is important to us, and we will not share any data about you with outside parties. We continually evaluate our technologies to ensure any data you share with us is protected. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to keep your data safe.

How often will I get a statement?
Statements are sent to you via U.S. mail one time per month. The exact date will vary depending on the type of account and when the account was opened. Sign up for on-line banking to have access 24/7 to all your account information.

How do I sign up for on-line banking?
Simply stop by our office and one of our helpful staff members will set you up for on-line banking.
